Kristin Brown

Kristin Brown is a dedicated dance educator with over a decade of experience teaching students of all ages and abilities. She began dancing at the age of three and trained in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, hip-hop, and contemporary at respected studios across California and Utah. She holds a BA in Dance from Brigham Young University, where she performed with the touring company Contemporary Dance Theatre and had the opportunity to perform internationally.

Kristin is passionate about cultivating creativity, confidence, and connection through movement. She has taught throughout Utah and Southern California, specializing in contemporary, jazz, tap, and creative movement. For the past seven years, she has also brought the joy of dance to the special needs community by teaching and choreographing for Inclusive Movement and Dance. Her classes emphasize accessibility, musicality, and self-expression in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Her performance experience includes professional work with SALT Contemporary in Utah and five seasons with Temecula’s Avocado Dance Theatre. She currently performs with CalliOpus Contemporary Dance, where she also serves as Assistant Director. Kristin has trained with acclaimed programs including San Francisco Conservatory of Dance, Paul Taylor Dance Company, Complexions Contemporary Ballet, and Gaga workshops at Miracosta College.

Outside the studio, Kristin is the owner of Candid Kids with Kristin, a photography studio focused on capturing the personality and magic of childhood. She is a proud mother of four and grateful for her supportive husband.
